Why did Prime Minister Narendra Modi become emotional after the successful rescue of 41 laborers trapped in the tunnel of Uttarakhand?
Last Tuesday was a matter of great happiness for the whole of India. 41 laborers trapped in a tunnel in Uttarakhand were successfully rescued, who were trapped in the tunnel for a long time. After 17 days of tireless and continuous efforts, the workers were finally taken out of the tunnel safely. While stating on Wednesday, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that Prime Minister Modi was extremely relieved to know in the cabinet meeting that 41 workers trapped in the tunnel have been rescued after a long operation of 17 days and all have come out safely.
Workers achieved victory in a great war
From 12 to 28 November, an operation was conducted to safely rescue 41 laborers trapped in the tunnel. Of these, 15 workers from Jharkhand, eight from Uttar Pradesh, five each from Bihar and Odisha, three from West Bengal, two each from Uttarakhand and Assam, and one from Himachal were trapped and all the workers were rescued in healthy condition. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital for a primary examination.

The operation to rescue the workers trapped in this tunnel since November 12 ended on Tuesday evening. The Union Minister informed about the decisions of the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday evening and also said that despite Prime Minister Modi being very busy in the election campaign, he visits the tunnel at least twice a day to know the condition of the workers trapped in the tunnel. He used to come close to them and many times he used to get emotional after meeting their family members and used to console them that he would bring their family members out safely as soon as possible. Anurag Thakur said that this issue was also discussed in the cabinet for a long time.
