Urvashi Dholakia is a famous Television actress. She is popularly known for playing the antagonist, “Komolika” in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. After this show, she appeared in numerous television serials and reality shows. She recently underwent neck surgery at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. She was diagnosed with cancer and had to remove a tumour.
She said that she had to undergo surgery as a tumour (cyst) was diagnosed in the neck in early December 2023. Her surgery was successful, and now her doctors have advised her to rest for 15 to 20 days. Her son Kshitij posted a picture on his Instagram account, updating people about his mother’s health condition. She can be seen lying on the hospital bed and smiling, which gives relief to her fans and followers. Her son also posted videos from the hospital.

It was very recently when Urvashi Dholakia revealed in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that she had never spoken to her ex-husband, Anuj Sachdeva. Her sons also don’t want to know about him. In the same interview, she was asked if people hit on her after she came to the industry after her divorce. She replied that there were such instances, but she was too focused on her work and friend-zoned many people. She was very clear about it.
She has previously discussed her personal life, early marriage, and divorce. She married at 16, had twins at 17, and divorced at 18. And how soon her fairy tale bubble burst. Urvashi Dholakia has been acting since a very early age. She made her acting debut with Revathi at 6 in a TV advertisement for a soap brand. Later, she appeared as Rajalxmi in the Doordarshan TV series “Shrikant.” Her first adult TV role was in the famous sitcom Dekh Bhai Dekh, where she played the role of Shilpa. In Shri Adhikari Brothers’ Waqt Ki Raftar, she was still in school. She also featured in the 1988 film Kab Tak Chup Rahungi and was a member of Nadira Babbar’s theatre group, Ekjute.

She has also been a contestant in Nach Baliye 9, and her most recent reality show was the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, where her choreographer was Vaibhav Ghuge.
